My Art, Goals, and Influences

I've started art pretty late compared to most of my peers. I've always loved animation since I was a kid, but that would never go beyond just viewing, that is, until late in high school, when I realized that pursuing the very thing I've always enjoyed was what I wanted to do the most. I love both American and Japanese animation, and want to be a part of the industry some day, hopefully as a storyboarder or concept designer. Because I am behind on experience, I lack expertise, but make up for it in hard work. I've dabbled in various mediums, including pencil, charcoal, and Photoshop illustrations, and Toon Boom Harmony animation. One inspiration of mine is Murata. I absolutely love the way he conveys movement through each scene he illustrates and aim to make action scenes as he can.

This blog has been created for both personal work and for Art 363B - Illustration.
